'EX-WORKS' RALLY TIGER AHP 294B NOT SOLD BY BRIGHTWELLS
A provisional hammer price of £76,000 (US$120,000) wasn't the right one for the vendor so this Tiger remains unsold. Presently at any rate.
Having seen the estimate rightly lifted late on from £50,000 - 70,000 to £80,000 - £100,000, I would side with the vendor in having a reasonable expectation of obtaining close to £100K (US$155,000) if not a tad more.

I just had a look at this Chinese Tiger.
It's probably the only rally car I've seen with an ashtray.
It was obviously a more leisurely sport back then.
Also, am I terribly confused or is the throttle pedal on the wrong side?
As for the price......
I need to find some racing history for mine I think.

It shouldn't be any more difficult than yours or mine just everything on the wrong side. It's tight, but still can be done.

That Alger was on Ebay for a while as well before going to the Brightwells auction. It didn't look as good on Ebay, but at least it sold and for a very respectable price. Probably not good for the poor owner of the Works 'REAL' Tiger that didn't sell.dpuzey wrote:Looks like it did not sell yesterday, the clone, 'evocation', sold for £9k. Lots of cars not sold at this auction.
