Hi Brad
Just wondered what the latest was with your Tiger, have you sorted all the teething issues and is it on the road now?
Regards
Gary

Re: Front headlights for Tiger
Hi David
What a great find, hope the car gets recommissioned and put back on the road?
I have seen Racing Alpines with faired in Headlights similar to the E-Types
Here's one off the Internet?

Re: wiring loom recommendation?
Dave I purchased a standard Wiring loom off Autosparks for a Triumph I restored in 2002, I was impressed with the quality and I fitted it without any issues? It looks like Autosparks do a number of options and I'm sure they will be able to make you a custom made Loom with additional Fuses and relays...

Re: callipers
If you have the original Girling 16P Calipers fitted the thread should be 3/8" UNF for the Bleed Nipple and Pipe inlet This is a link from a Triumph Website regarding the 16P Calipers (Thread sizes should be the same for all UK supplied Cars I believe?) https://forum.tssc.org.uk/applications/core/in...

You may find when you use the car and have done a few hundred miles the suspension will settle
How much uprated are your springs?

Re: Mk1 vs Mk1A
A couple I know of:- 1. Mk1 Round Corners to Doors and Bonnet, MK1a Square edged (Note some late Mk'1 around 100 or so have square edges to the bonnet and doors too) 2. Mk1 The Sill Seam below the rear of the doors and between Front Wings and Scuttle not leaded over like earlier Mk1 cars? I'm sure t...

Re: Wheel sizes
I have 6" wide rims 13" Diameter on my Car with 185/70 Tyres with no issues, the off-set is the important thing but I would guess 8" wide would be marginal. The Tyre Selector for 8" Wide rims suggest 225 or 235 is ideal with 215 the minimum which will safely fit, you don't say what diameter the Rims...

Winter Maintenance plans
Just wondered how's everyone doing in the Sunbeam Tiger World?
My car is tucked up in a nice warm garage under it's cover, plans over the winter holiday period are adjustment/re-greasing of the front wheel bearings and an Oil/Filter change.
Anyone got anything planned for their cars?
Gary

Re: hard Top rear window
Hi Gary, No I didn't. I got a price from Sunbeam spares at £250 ish plus packaging which seems expensive. I ended up fitting a flat acrylic one, although not perfect on the corners, does the job as I don't often use the car in the winter and not purposely when wet! Regards Rich Yes, I had a similar...
