Pendine Sands Hot Rod Races 2018

Although not an actual STOC club event, the VHRA Hot Rod races on Pendine Sands in Carmarthenshire are well worth a visit.

Held over the weekend of the 30th June/ 1st July for pre-1949 hot rods on the world famous beach at Pendine where the World Land Speed Record was set several times in the 1920's.

The rods run on both Saturday and Sunday.

A great place to stay overnight is Browns Hotel in Laugharne associated with the Welsh poet and writer Dylan Thomas, if this is booked then try Suandersfoot or Tenby just along the coast.
