Long term member Bob May has very kindly donated his collection of historic photographs of the Tiger and of STOC to the Club.
Many members know Bob used to be a professional commercial photograher and among other things when doing contract work for the 'Birmingham Post' newspaper took those shots of the Tiger production line in the Jensen Factory. Bob, now in his 80's bought his first Tiger in 1972 (JHL 384E) and later owned 'MAY 8' one of the 'Hartwell' MKII Tigers which he famously photographed his friends Ian & Laura Garrad in during one of their visits to England.
Bob's Collection was snapped during the 70' and 80's and here are a couple of examples from the 1982 National at Looe, Cornwall??
Recognise these folk?
More news in up-coming Cats Whiskers.

Tony,There's something about old archive images.........
That's because all the Tiger folk featured in those images are now really old!
Lanhydrock House-what happy memories.

Bonnet scoops were all the rage in the late 70s and early 80s.
To think that 5 bolt 289 engines were then 10 a penny and Boss 302 rods, in the featured car's engine, were also reasonably priced.
All we need now is another dose of nostalgia with Tony Capstick doing "Capstick Comes Home".
