I have just replaced my shocks and seat belts and the best prices I could find were....
www.motorsportsworld.co.uk as they are selling Spax PSX front and rear, each at £66.29 inc vat. plus £12 postage. For the seat belts look at www.moss-europe.co.uk where I just purchased a pair of static SBS300/45 in red for £66 ex Vat. Black ones are £59.11. Also spend over £99 ex vat and get 13% off. Hope this helps someone.
Shocks and Seat Belts.
While on this subject, for a long time I have wished I could have the convenience of retractable (inertia reel) belts in my Mk1 Tiger. I have looked at many Tigers but I am surprised no one seems to have bothered.
For the Mk1a and Mk2 you could fit reels onto the original back/side mounting points, and I presume some people have done that but on the Mk1 you have a folding hood bin which would be obstructed by the reels.
I have some ideas for fitting the reels on a Mk1 by the outer floor mounting points. This could work quite well I think.
Has anyone already done it for the Mk1 and would like to share the info?
If not does anyone else want to do this?

I had Quickfit of Stanmore fit a pair of their standard inertia reels in my Mk1 some years ago, nothing custom needed.
The pivot point of the main hood bin is well forward so the bin lifts upwards. Plenty of room for the reels.
For safety reasons it is preferable to have the belt behind your shoulder as horizontal as possible so floor mounting not ideal.
Send me a PM and I'll email pictures.
