Hindhead Tunnel Run

Post by gvickery » Mon Jul 16, 2012 12:25 pm

IF the monsoon has moved on by this Wednesday evening half a dozen of the 'Reigate Crew' Surrey Tigers are running down the A3 and the new Tunnel at Hindhead. Followed by a meet at a Grayshot pub and a local curry.

Just unbolting the silencers in anticipation of a fun run! But as mature sensible folk, I'm sure a gentle run at 30 will be order of the day.???

It lashed down the whole evening. Didn't stop Shelly taking a few pics :?

My wipers packed up!

It looks OK enough, it wasn't. But Big Bob managed to shake a few tiles off the Tunnel roof.

Still, we had a very nice Nepalese Curry later

Think we'll go again next month once our promised summer has begun

Just replaced my silencers with " 2.5" cherry bombs" to improve clearance over the dreaded speed humps ( honest). Is now so f..... loud I'm luving it. Shame I didn't do it before tunnel run. Neighbours don't seem so impressed. 6.00 am start for the national should upset a few!!!

And I thought my 2" cherrys sounded good at 6500rpm. Neighbours love the sound, theyre into Harleys and came running round. Just need to get it in on the road and find a tunnel.
