This is just fantastic!! Who wouldn't give to have their Tigers associated with many of the greatest drivers of all time.

A prestigious event on the F1 calendar, in a beautiful City, and the first of the season - and of all the classic car marques out there, the Alpines and Tigers are selected and what beautiful examples they are.

I'm not jealous, my car is ready for the Silverstone F1 meet.........now just waiting for the phone call......

I hope you did't bother any of the nice men for autographs did you Robin.

Must have been awesome having Lewis in the car with you.
Hi Martin,

Well I did have Alonso and Raikkonen sitting on the front of the Tiger while they were being interviewed. I did bother Lewis as well, but he was very obliging and signed my cap. It was an honour driving a world champion around the course, but we weren't supposed to be talking to them. They wanted our concentration on driving.

The video of the parade lap is truly priceless. Those have to be some really happy Sunbeam owners.

I am sooooo jealous.

I'm tipping if the track was clear, I'm sure there would be video of a silver Tiger here as well.

Thanks Tony and Brad,

The car was in the display area behind the pits with some rather more exotic company.. i was so honoured and surprised at the attention the Tiger drew.

I had the car in there from Wednesday through monday... now.. each night at 8pm the track would open internally for people to move vehicles around within the circuit... some people might have gone and done a few laps while it was closed.....

Also on the monday morning the track pit straight was closed.. but the rest was still open... that's all i'm going to say on those matters :o

and this moment was just the $h!t....

Jack Brabhams unrestored 59/60 F1 championship winning Cooper... now where can i get a push start!

Timo Glock - what Sunbeam did he get to ride in?

Post by Jeff H » Thu Mar 29, 2012 6:15 pm

Hi Michael,

I have 2 IT guys who work in the Marussia team garage and they missed the chance of taking Timos picture in a Sunbeam.

Do you have a picture of him in a Tiger ?

I may match it when he is at the factory and I have my tiger there. :D

thanks
