15" LAT 70 Wheels?

I have been speaking with ET Wheels of California who may be interested in manufacturing 15" x 6.5" LAT 70 wheels if there is enough of a market? These wheels would retail for $3-350 each.

Any takers?

Ash, Tom Hall and Rob Gruera (sp?) of modtiger engineering did the work to make 14 and 15" versions of the lat 70's about 3 years back.. might be worth touching base with them to see where it got.

Thanks Mike, I did contact them a while ago but nothing has moved forward.

E.T. machined some one off wheels for a customer from a billet so have the specs but need to produce 150 wheels to make a cast wheel affordable.

With 13" tyres becoming hard to find it seems a natural progression to go this route for those who want to keep their cars looking fairly original.

You can still get 13" tyres.. not as easy.. but they are available.. and probably will always be.. but may get a bit more expensive/difficult (that said.. 13" are pretty well priced compared to larger tyres)

I dont mind 14's on our cars.. but 15's require a specific design/tyre combo to stop them looking a little "fast and furious" as they can with some15" wheels and low profiles.... just my .02

This is a nice looking kid-car. A Sunbeam Tiger is something else. I would never put something bigger than 14" on a Tiger.
But that is only me.

You are right, there is nothing better than an original looking tiger (okay 8x13 on the rear) with a healthy 357 in the enginebay.
THIS is what a Tiger should be (for me, of course).
The big eyes of the Porsche, Cobra or other US-Car or sportscar drivers on the 1/4 mile are the best you can get.
