Jim Ovens masterpiece

Post by tigerman7347 » Sat Mar 28, 2015 12:12 pm

Was in the services at Exeter last night and picked up Classics Monthly with Jim Ovens car on front page. A great write up for the Tiger. Well done that man.

Thanks for the link Tony.

It's a good 6 page article in the 'Spring Issue', out now.
Importantly the Tiger is a great credit to the skills of STOC man Jim Oven.
I heard it described several times at the NEC Classic Car Show last autumn as the 'best car at the show'!!

Think Jim rebuilt the Konis Bernd.

Thanks. Need to talk to him during the spares day. I still have a pair of Konis over here waiting for a rebuild...

Bernd, I had some original Koni shocks rebuilt and they certainly were a big improvement for my setup. Not a cheap exercise to rebuild but worth it IMO.

I spoke with Koni in the UK a few years back and these are the 'authorised' repairers.
