Thanks for that, one of the US lads also sent me the same link. At the moment there is some quite rough reinforcing patches in that area which need to come off, so rough they might actually be original Jenson.

I thought the TIGER50 book was full?

Bit of garden furniture in flameproof paint.

3rd pass of lead on the repair section.

Not too bad a result, now to move on to the front section of the wheel arch.

Is it a standard price for a refurb or is it dependant on what they find?
What was the cost of your refurb if you dont mind me asking?

Standard refurb price, about the same as a new Lockhead unit, (shame really as i'd already done 50% of the refurb work, but they CAD plated what i did previously in the tank), however they did do a proper quality job so very pleased with the end result.

Thanks for the servo rebuild info Brad, useful to know and not too far from me

I see they do all manner of Lucas/Girling components. My MK2b was sticking on and manged to utilise a leather seal from another servo I had laying about, and duly lubricated by the correct grease which turned out to be shotgun/rifle gun grease!

It must be 50/50 now of Tiger owners running with Lockheed/Girling stopping units.

Your lead loading is making me want to give it another go. I tried once and gave up. It was the bottom of a door and warped. Great stuff.

Lets not get into the age thing

If you want some pointers on lead loading just ask, it's not that difficult, just takes ages to get it right unlike a great glob of filler, most rewarding when it's finished though.
