FOR SALE: 289 HiPo engine. Rare 5 bolt. This engine was removed from ADU 312B (ex works rally car) by Don Pither a previous owner of 312B because he wanted to enter FIA events & needed a compliant car. Described by Don as a good runner. It has geniune HiPo heads, stronger main bearing caps & 3/8th rod bolts. Believed built by Shelby for Rootes. Still has valve covers off 312B & B9499998 stamped on timing cover. The Ford component casting no is C3AE 6015-N which means it was built in 1963. £1200. Tel 07710 434325[/b]
