To make a long story short they were contacted prior to purchase and with payment instructions to mail to a specific address. They did not the item was lost and they chose to not insure the package resulting in a uninsured loss that they drug out asking for more time till to get results then said too bad.
A pox on them they are manipulators and get over on ya types would should not be taken at their word.

I moderate on CAT and would have left this in General Tiger discussion there as this is not a item for sale nor is it a positive feedback for eBay UK who's time limits are different the eBay US.

Look out for these folks as I bet they will sell the MK2 headlight ring again as they probably got it back 31 days after it was supposedly lost.

Damn. One would think that someone would be welding these together and selling...like the guy in the UK who sells the stainless MKII grille for over USD$1000 a pop.

There is a set for sale on CAT at the moment. They aren't cheap but sadly they never are because of the rarity.

Yes, Ron from Canada wants top money for those. He has a number of sets I believe, he was also telling me that he has a brand new MK2 egg crate grill which he bought new in period from Chrysler, still in wrapper never fitted to a Tiger. I daren't even ask how much that was

I am sure some lad south of Birmingham here in the UK was making repro headlight surrounds for late Alpine/MK2 Tiger from fibreglass that were a pretty good fit, and they were not daft money.

Yikes, truly expensive. Plus I want them chromed. I think I read in these forums that chroming these are particularly difficult and expensive (on the order of several hundred $)?
