Circuit des Remparts – Angouleme 2015

As Le Mans Classic only happens every other year and it seems a lot of you have got the touring bug we thought we would offer a trip to the Circuit des Remparts race weekend in Angouleme

The weekend is 18th to 20th September and we have 2 options on offer:

Option 1 is the ‘Full Monte’ package offered by Bill Telford at Classic Car Tours, this is based on 4 night in the Chateau de la Couronne. Full details can be found here:
http://www.classic-car-tours.com/angoul ... 4587026975
The package starting at £598 per person excludes ferry crossings and we would suggest you make it a 2 day drive. Ferry and overnight accommodation is about £450, giving a total starting at £1646

Option 2 is a more basic package based on 3 nights staying at Hotel Kyriad ANGOULEME NORD – Champniers. This is a pleasant hotel just north of Angouleme. The package, including ferries and 2 nights break on the drive costs £650 plus meals and tickets.

For Option 1 please speak direct to Bill Telford, the chateau is stunning and there are a limited number of rooms, so book now

For Option 2 please contact me, Dave Puzey (davepuzey01@aol.com) and I will let you have full details of where and what to book, the club is not doing any actual bookings.

Full details of the race weekend can be found here:

There is the International Rally on the Saturday which you can enter, it is a fun event, Race entry tickets can be bought at the event.

Rooms at Angouleme go quickly so book now!

Looks a fab event, I know enthusiasts who have been and go back again it was that good. Certainly a ploy to go instead of LMC, though later in the year and usually clashes with the Goodwood Revival.

Hotels to go very quickly now, so best book early to avoid disappointment Image
