Exactly one year from today the STOC California Tour will start.

We currently have ten crews taking part, although the deadline for paying your deposit has passed we are still able to take late entries for another couple of weeks. PM me if you're interested.

This may be your one and only chance to drive your own Tiger with other UK cars along the iconic California highways, Pacific Coast Highway, Monterey, San Francisco and cross the Golden Gate Bridge.

Cobra Experience visit confirmed.

The STOC California Tour will visit the Cobra Experience in Martinez on Tuesday 20th June. Probably the first time they would have had UK registered Tigers in their parking lot.

the visit will take place on route to the Wine Country having spent the previous two days in San Francisco and driving over the Golden Gate bridge earlier in the day.

There are seven UK Tigers on the California Tour next June. Flights and hotels are now booked.
We will be joined on the Pacific Coast Highway by some US based Tigers for our journey up Highway 1 to Tigers United XXXVIII.

The route will include:

Los Angeles
Malibu
Ventura
Carmel/Monterey (Whale watching & Laguna Seca Racetrack)
San Francisco ( Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge)
Marin County (Visit to the Cobra Experience in Martinez)
Sonoma Wine Country (Wine Tour by coach)
Sacramento (Tigers United)

Crews are then free to choose their own routes back to LA.

Flights and hotels now booked, currently sorting out the shipping formalities.

We have managed to get some track laps at the Mazda Laguna Seca race track when we are in Monterey.

I doubt if we will be going fast enough to run out of brakes entering the legendary "corkscrew" bends, like the driver of Buck Trippell's Tiger in the following video.

More info on the corkscrew.

We're off - well at least the cars are. All of the six UK Tigers taking part in the STOC California Tour have now been dropped off at the port for shipment over to California. The owners will follow in just over six weeks.

We'll look after the "yellow peril" on our way to California - like something from the next "Cars" film.
