I have purchased a Mallory conversion kit to fit in my 27 series Distributor.
When reading the instructions I notice the vacuum advance is fixed on the right hand side of the distributor when looking down, on my tiger the vacuum is screw onto the left side.
Has anyone fitted a Mallory electronic kit (61010M) and come across this problem. Before I fit the kit I want to make sure this will work, I have email Mallory USA but have not receive a reply.

Any comments will be much appreciated.

I assume that you are talking about the metal vacuum tube. Can you replace the tube with a hose and just change the fitting to a barb? Otherwise you may need to bend up a new tube to suit the new distributor.
