fuel line

Hi can any one help just need to know , is the fuel line fixed to the bulkhead just after it goes from the flexi to the steel pipe, or not fixed at all ,its just my one has a bracket floating about down there, just trying to get some jobs done before i start using it.

Hi Paul,

The fuel line is fastened to the body upto the flexy then it crosses to the side of the gearbox..there are 2 brackets that hold the front half of the fuel line to the engine.. 1 with a rubber grommet that secures the bottom bolt of the starter motor the second has a clamp on it and secures to the block just below the dynamo(alty) bracket..

Hi,

I'm not sure if the fuel line from the flexi joint is supposed to have two clamps, but mine also only has one below the generator position.

mine had 2 then a specialist changed it ,so i changed it back :mrgreen:

Fuel pipe

Hi thanks so the pipe bolts with a clamp by the starter then runs up the gearbox then does it run by the heads, I take it does anyone have a drawing there is nothing in the workshop manual . cheers paul
