Hi Paul,

I'm not sure about the head code numbers, but the fuel line runs along the chassis on the right-hand (driver's) side. It has a flexible join where it comes off the chassis and has a clamp that bolts on to the engine block running up in front of the generator bracket and dip stick.

Hope this helps.

Regards, Robin.

Hi Paul, here's a link that Graham kindly sent to me a while back.
I thought it may help with the number.

Paul,

The 289 IIRC even in the stock setup had larger valaves than those of the MKI tiger.. probably got traded a while back for better flow.. are you trying to get the motor factory correct? If not.. id stick with the 289 heads.

It might not be a bad idea to post up a couple of pics of the head and the code.

Hi
If they are 289 heads i am ok with that, I will put some pictures on the site when i get them back from the engineering shop , they need a bit of work as had a head gasket gone.

cheers paul
