Brake adjustment.

Post by gtsmrt » Sat Nov 27, 2010 1:34 am

Hi,

Just a quick tip for those who are inexperienced (like me) in the art of brake adjustment. A few months ago I replaced the disc rotors on the Tiger and at the same time I also re-adjusted the rear drums. After a number of runs, I was wondering why it was taking sooo long for the brakes to bed in. I decided to check them again last night and found that I needed to back them off one more click. Due to the mis-adjustment I was obviously running too much rear brake and not bedding in my front brakes (and a rock hard brake pedal) .

Hopefully this will help some other inexperienced owners.

Regards, Robin.
