Hi,

Are there kits available for repairing clutch slave cylinders or are they a throw away item? Mine is starting to leak (not badly), so I'd better look into repairing or replacing it.

Thanks, Robin.

Hi Robin, I've just had a look in Brian's Parts Brochure and there is a kit listed so it looks like they exist.
It could be worth giving him a bell (as long as it doesn't cost you a million Dollars) to ask him if it does what you want it to.

Its a straight forward job to change the seals. Worth checking the bore for scoring at the same time. If you use headers its worth putting some heat shielding around slave cylinder, as it gets very hot.

Hi,

Thanks for your replies. I have got a part number for a new slave cylinder, but I will probably pull the old one apart to see if it is repairable. Thanks again.

Regards, Robin.
