Hi Paul,
If you want a 351 or as close as possible, the best option would be a 302 and put a stroker kit through it. Don't hold me to it, but going that way will give you 347 cubic inches and if you ask me that is plenty big enough for our Tiger's. 347 and still fits under the bonnet!!
Regards, Robin.

Paul,
I guess the question you havent been asked and the information you didnt provide is "why do you want a 351?"
For starters if its for power and torque a well setup 289 and 302 will easily match a stock 351.. and make sure its a 351 windsor not clevland as they wont fit. The windsor 260-302 blocks fit right in and will also be lighter an advantage in a Tiger.
If you want to fit a 351W you have to modify the front crossmember and perhaps the front scuttle where the engine goes under the firewall. Im not sure about the transmission tunnel but check what bellhousing they use that might also pose a problem.
if you do a nice alloy head roller cam 302 you are likely to get more power without fitting issues.. and again a weight advantage.
There are stroker options, 332, 347 350 and some slight variations between.. if you build one of these remember more power = more heat and that will be an issue in a tiger, you will have to upgrade the cooling and it would be advisable to change fans and coat exhuasts. Also if you do go down the stroker path you are better off spending the money on a good crank.. a proper forged one.. while some well known brands make them as cast.. and some cheap cast ones are available think about the fun of pulling a tiger engine to fix it.. better to soend the $ in the first place.
Finally, the more power and torque the more strain on the rear spring hangers, panhard rod mounts and axels, you will need more rubber and a traction assisting device (LSD + traction bars or torque arm) to try and put the power to the ground.
All things to consider...
