Hi,

I have never put the front of my Tiger on chassis stands before and was wondering where is the best position for them? I normally jack up the car under the lower suspension arms (under the shocker). Any help would be appreciated.

When I was pulling the Tiger down I put the stands under the rear axle and at the front points of the X frame, where they meet the sills. I did not want them under the front cross member as I wanted to drop that out, and then the engine and box.

Thanks a heap Mal. That is what I wanted to confirm. Didn't want to put them there and find that the weight of the V8 bending the chassis or something. Great garage shot of the Tiger being worked on .
