Checking/Setting camber angle

Post by Tigerfan » Tue Jul 20, 2010 8:47 pm

Hi all, is it really necessary to load the front of the car down onto gap gauges (136 Kg required) to measure /check the camber angles ?? Is there not a measurement that can be taken on an unloaded car that relates to the loaded camber angle. It is quite a job to find 136 Kg mass to fit onto a platform as required by the Workshop manual. Can't believe many people do it. Thanks Rich
