starter

Does anyone know the diameter of the collar on the starter ( the bit that locates through the engine plate in front of the 5 bolt bell housing ) on the 260 engine. I have a new starter which I bought for a 6 bolt bellhousing on a 289 engine about 30 years ago and would like to know if it fits the 260 5 bolt engine plate. In other words, are the starters the same on both engines ?

Pretty sure both starters are the same.
