Under the false floor.

Spare upper and lower radiator hoses several quarts of pre mixed coolant.

Accelerator cable, Original points and condenser,"Petronix installed,"

1 container of brake fluid unopened. Quart of Oil or two. Spare air in a can.

Spare electric fuel pump "I have a cheap off brand" Fan belt.

The bag that goes in car for longer trips has the tools, zip ties duct tape hose clamps jump suit and a nice cardboard sheet. Seen guys carry spare generator and voltage regulator but he was the Iron butt winner at Tigers Utd. in So. Cal. coming from East coast, Atlanta Ga.

Most important 100 mile tow AAA membership card.

Agree, taking parts with you (and tools) is essential. It's usually something simple that fails

Call me paranoid, but over the trips I have done abroad, I have accumulated a number of spares and tools that I always carry with me. Even had a trolley jack with me on the last trip to Germany, one of the benefits of not having a passenger.

Pic taken earlier this year, showing what I carry. This is before I sorted it all out with most spares/tools going under the false floor.

Further room in the boot for spares with the following space saver tyre.

Still amazed at how little some folk take with them when abroad
