Post by Michael » Thu Jul 18, 2013 5:34 pm

Im having trouble with my tachometer and fuel gauge they are not registering. Could it be the ballist resister new one fitted rated at 1.5 ohms. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would treat them as seperate problems. Did they work before. Have you done something recently and they both went? My rev counter has never worked.

The fuel guage didnt work due to a faulty voltage regulator, Does your temp gauge also not work? if so thats were Id look they are connected. Either a poor earth as mentioned, broken or shorted regulator. Also check that you are getting some voltage.
