Could someone tell me how many bolts should attatch the front part of a Tiger boot lid hinge to the body., I can only feel one on each hinge when reaching in from the boot.

Just the one.

I'll second that.

The boot lid hinge is held onto the body by a 1/4unf threaded stud,use a stud rather than a set screw as you will not strip out the softer threads in the cast hinge when fitting.

And don't use the replacement rubber hinge gaskets, they slip and you will damage the paint very quickly. Replace them with cork and no slip.

simon at sunbeam supreme has the correct wax covered paper gaskets much better than the rubber ones

Still prefer Rick's rubber ones. They are self-adhesive on the underside and will never move once installed...

Sorry, newer ones maybe, mine did move, result a big paint chip.

Mine have moved, with usual mess. They are a type of vinyl. Is there a best solution?

I think a previous post about waxed paper may be good, others say a thin cork gasket will also stop the dreaded slip.

rubber ones are useless .originals are waxed covered paper
