engine earth strap

The engine earth strap on my car is attached on one end to the front bolt of the L/H exhaust manifold and on the other end to one of the bolts on the lower end of the left hand bracing rod . Is this the correct location for the earth strap ?

This earth strap is usually connected from a point on the nearside chassis to a bolt on the engine plate/block plate or possibly to a gearbox/bellhousing bolt.

The earth strap is bolted to one of the redundent Alpine gearbox crossmember bolts,5/16ths unf, and the other end is located on the clutch slave cyl mtg bolts,for the slave cyl.
