Just done an oil change and I've fitted a V8F glass fibre media oil filter for the first time.

I've got the standard remote filter fitting, on a blueprinted 260 with fast road cam, Holley, etc. The V8F is slightly longer than the previous item but fits without fouling anything. Would probably increase the oil capacity slightly.

Oil pressure on start up was good.

I'll report back during the year to see how it performs.

Oil used was Valvoline VR1 racing oil.

The V8F is an excellent quality oil filter which gives more engine protection than any other oil filter on the market.

I have seen a cross section of the 'internal' element used in the filter and looked very impressive!
