Does anyone have a photo of the correct routing for the HT leads on a Tiger?
My car has a right hotch-potch of Unipart leads which I strongly suspect are the cause of a mis-fire over 4000 rpm.
I'm about to order a set from Magnecor and I want to make sure they're right. They do a set for the Mustang 289 so apart from the coil lead I assume that they are the correct length. My car has a 289 with a Mallory distributor and headers so I'm guessing that 90 degree boots at the distributor end and 35 degree boots at the plug end should be ok.
The rocker covers do not have any brackets the clip the leads to, so I'm also interested in how to get that right.

when replacing the HT leads,make sure that you try to keep leads number 7 and 8 separate as they can be prone to causing a misfire if run too close together,although this may not be the case with more modern lead insulating materials,early leads were prone to this.
A good idea of how to run the leads is in the workshop manual,you will need the rocker cover clips or a good alternative if possible to stop leads from not only looking untidy but to keep from stg shaft etc,

You still on condensor and points? Tried another coil? Rotor arm and dizzy cap worth checking, so it feels like an electrical misfire?
I had a misfire once, couldn't trace it for ages, until I changed the brand of spark plugs
