Silicon hoses and aluminium tubing

Post by V8 burble » Sun Jun 03, 2012 2:19 pm

Silicon hoses and flanged tubing can be expensive, especially when you add the magic word "motorsport" to the vendor's name.

I used 2 pieces of ordinary 38 mm (1.5 inches) aluminium tubing when fabricating a custom top hose.
This worked fine, but I really wanted to have that same pipe flanged at each end to make an even more secure fit.

ASH (autosiliconehoses.com) seem very competitive on price compared to a lot of suppliers {half the price in some cases!!}. They also supply many other useful parts.

Buy online from ASH here:

This is my joiner (100 mm long x 38 mm):

The company's ebay shop is here:

Nice quality items at a decent price.
