Looks as though you can get an electric power steering assist for your Tiger.

In the UK, STOC stalwart Jim Oven has been producing such a system for some while.

That would be a good modification to complement the midget rack. I personally wouldn't do it to a standard rack.

IIRC, Jim uses an electric Vauxhall Corsa rack.

It's a nice set up with feel adjustment via a knob on the column.
Tony T has it on his Minger.

I have been told that the corsa set-up does not centre as it has been designed for a front wheel drive vehicle so there is not sufficient load on the front wheels. If so take care on roundabouts

Can anyone clarify this :?:

If you check a few posts above, apparently Jim Owen has made kits and on the CAT Forum there are pictures of Corsa units fitted to Sunbeam Racks. I thought of posting here as this is where the conversion started. 8)

You'd probably be best contacting Jim Oven direct but I don't think Jim comes onto the website.

Graham Vickery is away playing at the National Classic Car Show this weekend but I'm sure if you sent him a PM he would give you Jim's contact details when he gets back.

You could also PM Tony Tomaselli who has it fitted to his left hooker Tiger and is the shameless exhibitionist :P who posted the pics on CAT and he can give you the low down on how it is to live with.
