Front hub split pin size?

Post by gtsmrt » Sun Dec 04, 2011 1:24 am

Hi,
What is the correct diameter of the split pin that holds the castellated nut on the front hub?
Thank you, Robin.

:) That's plainly obvious, but a size would be nice and I don't want split pins that I will never use.

Hi,

For those that need to get replacement split pins when working on the front hubs, the size that fits nicely is 9/64 x 2". They are a bit long, but easy to trim.

Regards, Robin.
