What is the correct diameter of the split pin that holds the castellated nut on the front hub?

I would think the largest size that fits the hole.

That's plainly obvious, but a size would be nice and I don't want split pins that I will never use.

Hi,
For those that need to get replacement split pins when working on the front hubs, the size that fits nicely is 9/64 x 2". They are a bit long, but easy to trim.

Dont you mean 3.571875mm Robin? we have been metric over here for a long time.
