cylinder heads

Does anyone know if Edelbrock have ever been approached in the U.S about manufacturing aluminium cylinder heads for the 260 engine? I know they make them for the 289 but maybe they don't think there would be much demand for the 260. I am sure that many Tiger owners would like to fit them.

I thought 289 heads fitted a 260. I used to have Hi Po 298 heads on my 260.
But best get confirmation from an expert.

289 heads fit a 260.

I have aftermarket alloy heads fitted. The blocks are the same. The casting of the bores were different. You will have to buy an adjustable pushrod to determine the size you need for your heads. If not sure get a rebuild done by an expert
