Where is MCH700D now?

Post by Ash » Sat Aug 15, 2009 10:03 am

I restored this car from a bare shell in the 90's after buying it from a guy who imported it from New Mexico but had to sell it because he was getting a divorce! When I turned the shell on its side to paint the car it was full of orange desert sand!

I just wondered what has become of the car and what it looks like now?

I painted the car in Roots Kingfisher Blue but the car was originally dark green.

I have some old photos of the car.

I have V8 withdrawall symptoms and may restore another Tiger if I can find a good project car.

Many thanks Ash

Your old Tiger is safe and sound in STOC and it is now in Hampshire. I can safely say MCH 700D looks as good today as it did when you finished its restoration and wears the same paint. I have passed on your enquiry to the owner/member.

Project Tigers are difficult to come by nowadays but in this market taking on a useable example and bringing it back / up to standard specification show condition should prove worthwhile.
