Car history

Post by bturner » Sat May 02, 2009 1:04 am

Would it be possible to find out if this car was the car noted in the book 'Tiger: The Making of a Sports Car' by Mike Taylor. on Page 182. Alan Hartwell purchased 7 MK11 Tigers that were standing on the dockside at Southampton and one was bought by a Canadian who took immeadiate delivery. This car has a vinyl covered hardtop as did Alan Hartwells. The vin is B382100629LRXFE and paint code 39. If this information could be confirmed it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

I assume that from the post by bturner that he may have one of the Mk II tiger's that was written about in the previously mentioned book. It does not necessarily mean it is worth more, but it is nice to know that car may have an interesting history.
