Went to the RaceRetro show today, and on display on th JME stand was ex works Sunbeam Tiger rally car, ADU311B, from the info by the car it has just been restored and is in midnight blue with a black hardtop.

It was certainly a fine looking freshly restored machine, sadly didn't meet the owner but first time apparently out in public since 1989. Owner was from Jersey and he also owned the Big Healey on that same stand once raced by Pat Moss.

Managed some pics on phone - so apologies for the poor quality.

Did ask to have a look under the bonnet - but was told to get lost

ADU 311B

Thanks for the photos Tony. I have a couple of engine bay shots that can join yours!!
The owner is a STOC member, who as you say is a 'Big Healey' fan as well. An association with Peter Riley the former BMC works team driver and Rootes team driver of Tigers led to ADU 311B leaving Peter Riley's hands a couple of years ago and receiving its restoration by JME Healey.

Graham Rood was a former keeper and he has advised on the restoration. 311B has been restored to its final specification (the 1966 FIA Homologation) with a paint guise of midnight blue with black hardtop. I am hopeful the car will be attending a STOC event very soon!
