Team Tiger AMOC 2011 Intermarque Championship final results

Post by B9471845 » Wed Sep 14, 2011 4:41 pm

Team Tiger finished the 2011 AMOC Intermarque Championship on a high, despite reduced participation this year resulting in "only" 4th Team place overall.

At the final rounds at Snetterton this weekend, Zoe North finished 2nd in race 1, and secured her first win with the Tigress in Race 2, beating a modern Aston Martin N24 by 2 seconds after 45 minutes of racing!

Meanwhile Tristan Bradfield took 11th and 10th in the two races to secure the overall AMOC Intermarque Championship for the 4th year running!

Congratulations to both for fantastic results for Team Tiger!

Top congratulations to Team Tiger. Much kudos to the drivers who stuck with it and got another good result for themselves, the marque and the Club.

Tristan has achieved a magnificent record; I doubt anyone else will ever exceed it. Truly excellent!

Very well done Team Tiger.

And many thanks Andrew for keeping us posted especially the in-car video highlights....I feel a DVD compilation is there or thereabouts!!

May I also 'take this opportunity' to publicly thank, on behalf of the Club. Jim Oven and Marie for their continuing sponsorship of the "Sunbeam Challenge". Cracking races last time out.

Congratualtions to Team Tiger, its amazing to see them going so well, especially in the context of the more modern ferraris, astons and porsche racers.

Well done to tristan too, hopefully it will draw a few more Sunbeams to the track for 2012.

How did the alpines do?
