Morning all,

I was wondering if anyone knows what the hole on the top face of the transmission tunnel is for. In the photo it's between the back of the rocker cover and the clip that is securing the hydraulic lines.

I've looked at two right hand drive Tigers, an earlier one and a MK1A and they both have the hole, but in both cases it's blanked off as in the photo, is it something for the LHD cars, or maybe for access to the last rocker cover bolt or something altogether different?

Regards

Tim

Is it something to do with the spark plug access?

Hi Brad,

Thanks for the reply. I don't think that this one is, there is another slightly further round which works for getting at a plug.

Any other ideas?

My RHD Tiger also has this hole blanked off with a Grommet, could it be for the Throttle Linkage or Cable on a LHD Tiger maybe?

Regards

Isn't it for the duck bill drain?
