Radiator mounts

Anyone has ideas about best way to fit radiator with flexible mounts?
Currently using short pieces of silicone hose to give some flexibility but is there a better way?
Also adding flexible spacers between rad brackets and body shell brings the rad very close to the steering rack. Ideas?

Try Concept Racing, they sold a rubber bobbin type radiator mount.

Mounting alu rad

If it is any help I had this problem, and this was my solution. With an oversize fan there was not enough space to use bobbin mounts. I drilled out the mounting holes in the body and inserted rubber rivnuts which have a relatively thin flange. I was as worried about galvanic action on the alu rad as I was about vibration. With 13.5V going through an alu rad which was 'connected' to the steel frame I was sure the rad core would dissolve in time. I would welcome any thoughts on this.

Thanks, that's a neat solution.

Hadn't thought about galvanic action; could be exacerbated by using the Tiger on roads that have salt grit contamination.

I think I will stay indoors until spring - should give me time to sort out the rad mounts.

Best regards. :D
