I had this and two others spun I Aluminium earlier this year. I can now have them done in brass for chroming or painting. the last mould was in wood and only good for three tanks. I am happy to now have a mould made in steel which will cost £325 which will make any amount. Tanks retail about £225 depending on min three at a time. If anyone is interested I will get the mould made.

This is the first Brass header tank. To be finished with fittings. It will be identical to the original except for the flat section top and bottom. made in 18 gauge they are very strong and will fit straight to the tiger using original straps. Can also make in Aluminium at 25% less than brass, although the Ali will show a welded seam as in my original post.
Brass will be £400 including VAT Ali £300
Brushed stainless straps available, paint and P&P extra.
Will post finished Tanks next week.

Yes Tim, very nice piece of work.

Might be an idea to put a small ad in the Cats Whiskers 'classifieds' page?

The brass tanks wont show and welds as on the aluminium as they will be silver soldered.
