I've rebuilt + repaired toploaders... there not hard at all...
the only special tool I used was a piece of broom handle to hold the lay shaft needle rollers in place as it is re-assembled....

There a doddle....don't be scared.. get on with it... :D

Well, that looks easier than a rotisserie. I would have run a tube from where the chasis bolts onto it and out horizontally. This would transfer the weight of the car straight down without a twisting moment when its on its side. At least triangulate the two bars running down from the chasis. Good job.

Let us know if its a one or two man job. Corners dont quite look cut off enough to be a one man job.

I think it must be a two man job judging by all that blood on the rag on top of the car :P

Good idea, its better with the cross members & i also triangulated it with some spars from a scaffold tower i'm not using at the moment, it's pretty rigid now.

Cleaned up the blood soaked rags & put some fresh bandages nearby in preparation for some carnage tomorrow when it gets turned over :?

I think everyone who can should go and help Brad turn that car over, as long as he promises not to wear those pink overalls :P
