Mirrors

Does anyone have advice on sourcing quarter-light or door mirrors?

Most Tigers seem to just relly on the single rear-view (going fast enough to not worry about who's been left in your dust?!!), but I was looking for something that doesn't require drilling through that pristine (ahem) paintwork...

Halcyon do seem to have a nice selection, but I didn't want to reinvent the wheel. Thanks

Hi 666?

Look on ebay under Quarter light mirror, you will find what you are looking for there.

The stadium type ones are OK, though try to get ones which are convex rather than flat.

Thanks guys- "Stadium" was the word I needed! RatSport seem to have exactly what's needed, although I suspect theirs aren't convex, but they do have great photos of Tigers sporting the item in question- sold! Thanks again,

Mmm..... . . I'm not that good with "links" -prefer the kind you oil.

Try www.ratsport.triumphshop.co.uk

Also Halcyon- classicpartsltd.com

(Better selection, but who knows if they fit a Tiger- at least the RatSport site has a picture of their Stadium mirror on Tigers).

Hi,

The Halcyon mirrors seem to be finished to higher quality judging by the pictures and price and they also offer the screw type clamp instead of the clip type. How do people find them being quite small?

Regards, Robin.

Yes, I thought the Halcyon ones looked promising, but how to find what will fit -AND STAY ON.........I guess one could order one of each, and see what works -might look less like a Tiger and more like a Lambretta

Quarter Light Mirrors

As a newby to Tiger ownership, I have found it interesting that my bullet mirrors are virtually useless where they are located on both doors. I have looked at the Halcyon Quarter light mirror and my question is - where would this be located
on the side window frame that abuts the windscreen or
on the channel that the side window slides up and down
It makes a difference which one to order

If anyone has any photos, that would be greatly appreciated or any other tips
