It will probably be a pain to get it back to the UK but as they seem to be very rare, it could help someone out.

Cheers Martin, they do fetch good money - for what they are. Sure they could be remanufactured for a reasonable figure. We all have ageing header tanks that are now coming up to 50 years old

That is certainly a very healthy price. These high prices are becoming a common occurrence with Tiger parts, especially the less common parts.

Not sure what caused that part to go through the roof. I have seen these often sell for 25-300 USD, and even accounting for a week USD and maybe some internatinal bids that is way off the curve. Unless someone thought some extra value in the hoses and the original clamps... i have to say

If the seller posted worldwide, it may have gone higher. From time to time you do see ridiculous pricing at the auctions, but I don't know where people get the money especially for $1500 B.O.N's. Lucky I don't own a MkII
