Indeed it was low on power, had all the right components/ancillaries - just needed somebody to connect it all together.
Actually, John Sleath commented that the last time he found an extra 100hp for a customer, they stuffed it in a hedge and "wrote" the car off on the way home from the rolling road session

It's certainly lively now with the extra HP

Have no idea, it was actually a "blind" purchase off eBay. The engine came out of a TVR Griffith.

Exactly, despite having a 750cfm carb the first time, I was running with a "street" 650HP the second time - it was all down to the correct jets and powervalve settings. You cannot just install a carb out of the box - I thought you could!

That was the first run with the local guy, in all fairness he only really wanted to plug something in as he was used to Japanese Impreza and Evo's
Agree Gary, trip to John Sleath for a "Tiger" day out would be in order - must be plenty of Tiger owners needing a "tweak"
