I never thought about them being for left hookers only.

I'm sure it would be very possible to get them made over here.
Do we have a merchandise chappie or chappess to talk to about these?

Hi guys,
I have just returned from picking up the Tiger with the new 40 series Flowmasters fitted and the sound is simply stunning. The car sounds fantastic and it has made the entire driving experience superlative. I could not recommend these mufflers enough. They are certainly loud, but if one is truly looking for a sound befitting the Tiger sobriquet these work extremely well.

I shall post a youtube video this weekend!

Hi Hans,

Are they the Delta mufflers? If so I have heard good reports of them. There is nothing like a nice sounding V8 :)

Regards, Robin.

Robin,

They are the Delta Flows and they are superb. Resonance definitely not an issue. I cannot recommend them enough as they have completely transformed my driving experience. I feel that the Tiger could quite nicely substitute for Mcqueen's 390 gt fastback in Bullitt with the new soundtrack.
Here is a video I made though I just have an i-phone. I need to invest soon in a goproHD

Hans,

What exhaust system are you running? Are you using headers and if so, what type? Are you running a balance tube.. and what dia. is the exhaust?

Michael,

The car has the original headers placed back in 80-81 when the 289 was put in the car. No resonator, thus straight pipes except for the Delta Flows. Exhaust is 2in. I almost decided to replace the entire system with a a 2.25 system with inserts instead of a muffler, but these flowmasters are just perfect. I had a ride in an original 289 Cobra a few weeks ago and this sound runs it very close.

Hi Hans,

Very nice note from your Tiger... you have chosen very well and will get people turning their heads wondering if that beautiful note is the Bullitt Mustang . 8)

Awww...C'mon.... what do they sound like @ 6 grand...???

Seriously though... much more mellow than my new Spintechs.... they're positively rude...! I'm already looking for replacements...

Cat headers, balance pipe, 2 1/4" system with 2 1/4" x 9" x 16" Spintech 'Cruisers'

Hans,

I have 2 systems for my tiger..

The car runs CAT headers with 2 1/2 collectors.. i have slip fittings on them after the balance pipe (2 1/4" balance pipe) and have run straight out 2 1/2.. very loud.. sounds like a harley at idle.. but over 3000 smooths out.. and over 4500 sounds like a shelby GT350R... and i have what i run 98% of the time.. 2 1/4 inch with large sports mufflers.. nice deep and subtle sound and at cruise is really just background noise.. but once you get ino it.. nice and strong.

I looked intot he adjustable modern style mufflers with the butterflys acitvated by rmp range... but it would be a struggle to mount them on a sunbeam.. they are quite seep in section.

Yours sounds really nice on the move.

Hi Hans, and welcome aboard. There are some lovely composition on the photo shoots - very neat indeed.

Do like the alloys, are they the Dunlop options :?:

Thanks for sharing, and looking forward to seeing more pics/vids :D

HI guys,
Here is a new video! I think the sound comes through much more effectively. The alloys are indeed Dunlop d1s. I love the centercaps with the Sunbeam seal. Most unfortunately I have lost one and have yet to find a replacement.

Enjoy the video!
