Hi
The first few years i remember better than the last, so some dates are best guesses.

1979. 1976 Yamaha FS1E
1980. 1966 Lamberetta LI 150 with 225 wild cat conversion, I pushed this home more often than riding it.
1980. Yamaha RD 250 with 350 barrels and L plates.
1980. Ford Corsair 2000e. I wrote this off 3 days after passing my test.
1980. Vauxhall VX 490, 12 miles to gallon, if i remember.
1981. Sunbeam Alpine series V GT, I spent a fortune on this engine, head, cam, twin 40 webers. Then one sunny day I met a Tiger at the light's. That was the moment. I HAD TO HAVE ONE !
1984. 1967 Triumph vitesse convertable, still kept the Sunbeam.
1985. Yamaha RD 350 LC.
1985. Ford Capri 3.0L
1987. 1969 Daimler 420.
1987. Kawasaki Z 1000.
1988. Mini [ i got a mortgage ]
1989.Kawasaki GPZ 1000 RX.
1992. 1980 Toyota Celica GT
1994. Mercedes 280 ce
1996. E28 BMW 535.
1997. E34 BMW 535.
2002. E34 BMW 540.
2004. Twenty years after first wanting one, 1965 Sunbeam Tiger mk1, I still have it, and yes it is my favourite, of all the cars i have owned.
2007. BMW 330ci sport, cutting my carbon footprint from the 4.0L to 3.0L

Happy Tigering.

The Tiger prototype sounds interesting, do you still have that one?

It looks like Graham had a prototype too.

Keith Hampson has one. I've seen it and his is an interesting mix of Mk1 and Mk2 items and his looks fantastic.

It would be interesting to know how many there were, what they were individually used for and what has become of them.

I've just noticed that Graham had a MKI, a MkII, a protrype and a Tiger GT at the same time. I hope he got a picture of them all together. That would be cool.

1985 Austin A30 (before I passed me driving test!) car never ever had an MOT and had to pump the brakes (bit of a lottery) to get them working, no passenger floor pan either which would scare me mates also 8)
1986 Morris Minor, 1972 model and a real bird puller at college 8)
1987 Reliant Scimitar, can't recall year but the rarer GT coupe model, the Ford V6 only ever ran on four cylinders and cabin filled up with oil smoke all the time, college girls didn't like that
1987 Alpine SV acquired shortly after Scimitar ditched, another MOT failure, but I still drove it. Rebuilt engine for the fun of it, and it blew up shortly afterwards :x :x ended up giving it away.... :|
1988 VW Beetle, rare 1500 - white with black wings. Solid. reliable and dependable - typically German
1992 VW G40, little supercharged and lightweight Polo - a real pocket rocket that was real fun on the motorways - company reps hated me - especially with a "turbo diesel" badge on it :D :D
1994 Rapier Fastback H120, still have but been off the road now for 13 years
1996 Audi 100 - family arrives :(
1998 BMW 535 - fat lazy german
1999 Sunbeam Tiger, still have
2000 BMW M5 - fast lazy german, still have.
2000 Sunbeam Tiger (another), still have

With hindsight, would I have done things differently - YOU BET!!

The no7 7416KV Tiger I had was sold when I had my daughter some 22 years ago in bits. The present owner had the shell completely renovated, and as far as I know it is still that way, in bits.
