Spa/Nurburgring 2009 Tour Pics

Post by Tomaselli » Fri Oct 02, 2009 8:57 pm

Having all just returned safely from a successful trip to Spa and "The Ring" a full report will shortly be in the club magazine, Cats Whiskers, with pictures but a few pics to share are listed below. Great time was had by all and we very lucky with the glorious sunshine over the weekend watching some fabulous machines racing.

Thanks, :D

Just to show that Motorsport is dangerous when it goes wrong pics below from that Spa weekend are not nice

But it goes without saying that the racing lads really do work their cars and are braver than me for sure

Photos didn't show that the BMW had also smashed in the rear, off-side, & roof. Not 1 straight panel left on the car. Its going to need a lot of T-cut to get it right.

:( That is a shame, but that is the risk you take I guess. It was such a well presented BMW as well. Are they a rare car? Glad to hear that the driver is OK. Do you know how the accident occured?

Regards, Robin.

Thanks for sharing the pic's. Nice to look at all the Tigers, seeing how people have personalised their cars. On the beautiful dark blue Tiger in the secound photo, I would be interested to know where the bonnet scoop was available from, and what size the rims, ( panasports ? ) are.
Thanks Mal.

16" panasports, & the bonnet intake looks very similar to the one on the racing Cobra shown above.
