Post by gregs302 » Mon Jul 06, 2009 7:21 pm

Finally got tiger sorted so we took it over to Jersey.Had 2 glorious weeks with top down.Days hit nearly 30 c and we had no overheating probs, but inside car was roasting. Is this normal? The footwells and gearbox tunnel did get hot.my mk 1 has no air vents.are there solutions to this?

Cats Whiskers #72 carries the info you need - "Retro Fitting Fresh Air Vents and footwell ventilators. Can it be done?"

I don't recognise your monika so if you wereen't a member when #72 was published drop STOC an email and I will send the article to you.

it also helps a lot to lay foil covered insulation under the carpet. you can buy it in sheets that you cut and stick down.
