Spa trip
Well done Tony for organising a great trip, & thanks to all attendees who made it such fun. Hope all got back in one piece. Dean, not sure if your new grit blasting service is going to take off, may need a bit more refining!. I'm sure Tony will post photos soon.

What a fantastic weekend of classic motor sport the Spa 6 Hours is .
We would reconmend this trip to anyone
The Tiger drove all the way there at 75 mph, around the sourrounding roads of Spa (rubing its door handles on the floor, must get stiffer suspension ) and at 85mph all the way home without one single problem using only a quarter of a litre of oil and about 4 litres of water (no sign of leaks guess it just evaporates)
We went with a tour operator called Travel destinations which provided 3 nights in a hotel and the eurostar for £235.00 each. Hotel was ok although the parking was a little cramped with 19 rooms and only really 10 car spaces, for reference for the future it was Hotel Myrtilles at a place called Vielsalm.
Day one
Was an early start with the train departing at 6.20 am, driving staight to the hotel we arived at around 1300 local time (an hour in front)
Chilled out having omlet and chips in a local cafe (until I saw the bill at 8 pounds each) before driving to the circuit to watch the afternoons qually.we had a car park pass to the padock for Race Teams and Vistors, so parked in this, which was very close to the old pit straight, as we walked in, the site of just how steep the circuit is takes your breath away. We settled in the nearest grandstand and pretty much stayed there until the last car had left the circuit, then went into the pits and went anywhere we liked nobody seemed to mind and everbody was willing to take time and talk to you.
Pizza in the hotel resturant couple of beers a brandy and bed.
Day 2
Parked in the same car park which on reflection was a mistake, the classic car section is much nicer and more secure, car park attendant writes your number plate on a coloured piece of paper which you are surposed to show when leaving (found this out on day three). Lots of support races through the day, got to stand on the pit wall when the classic F1's were going past (ask to see the footage on my phone its mad) Went up into the classic car section and came aross some of the other Tiger owners, sorry we did not get to talk to everyone there just seemed so much to see.The 6 hour race starting at 1600 until 2200. We were at the start of the race on the start finish line, as the race continued we set off walking the out side of the track and got back to the start finish at around 2120, its a long walk agian finshed in the pits checking out the cars.
Day 3
Tigers racing today, they went well while they lasted, dont know what happened but they did look and sound great, spent most of the day in the classic car section looking at the assembled classics with racing in the background, a lovley way to spend your day
As I said at the begining, the Spa 6 hours is an event everbody should put on their to do list IT IS FANTASTIC
